You could have heard a pin drop

I do not know who to credit with this, but thank you.

At a time when our president and other politicians tend to apologize for
our country`s prior actions, here`s a refresher on how some of our former
patriots handled negative comments about our country.

JFK’S Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in France in the early 60′s when
DeGaule decided to pull out of NATO. DeGaule said he wanted all US
military out of France as soon as possible.
Rusk responded “does that include those who are buried here?
DeGuale did not respond.
You could have heard a pin drop

When in England , at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by
the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of
empire building by George Bush.
He answered by saying, ‘Over the years, the United States has sent many
of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom
beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is
enough to bury those that did not return.’
You could have heard a pin drop.

There was a conference in France where a number of international
engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, one of
the French engineers came back into the room saying ‘Have you heard the
latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to
Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intended to do, bomb them?’
A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: ‘Our carriers have three
hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear
p owered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities;
they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three
meals a day, they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from
sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in
transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven
such ships; how many does France have?’

You could have heard a pin drop.

A U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included
Admirals from the U.S. , English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies. At a
cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of Officers
that included personnel from most of those countries. Everyone was
chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral
suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn
only English. He then asked, ‘Why is it that we always have to speak
English in these conferences rather than speaking French?’
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied, ‘Maybe it’s because the
Brit’s, Canadians, Aussie’s and Americans arranged it so you wouldn’t have
to speak German.’
You could have heard a pin drop.

AND THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE…

Robert Whiting , an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane.
At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry
on.
“You have been to France before, monsieur?” the customs officer asked
sarcastically.
Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously.
“Then you should know enough to have your passport ready.”
The American said, ‘The last time I was here, I didn’t have to show it.”
“Impossible. Americans always have to show your passports on arrival in
France !”
The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly
explained, ”Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to
help liberate this country, I couldn’t find a single Frenchmen to show a
passport to.”

You could have heard a pin drop.

If you are proud to be an American, pass this on! If not, delete it.

I am proud to be of this land, AMERICA

I am a Bad American

flag2YES, I’M A BAD AMERICAN

I Am the Liberal-Progressives Worst Nightmare.

I am an American.

I am a Master Mason and believe in God.

I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles and believe in American products.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some Liberal governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!

I’m in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn’t make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized,

and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it!

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, do it in English.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to God

when and where they want to.

My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson that makes the Awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

I don’t hate the rich. I don’t pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake and I don’t waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I’ve never owned a slave, or was a slave, I haven’t burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you!

So, shut up already.

I believe if you don’t like the way things are here,

go back to where you came from and change your own country!

This is AMERICA …We like it the way it is!

If you were born here and don’t like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you.

I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution.

Can I get an AMEN on that one?

usa

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you’re breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.

And, no, I don’t mind having my face shown on my drivers license.

I think it’s good…. And I’m proud that ‘God’ is written on my money.

moneycrossinGod

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don’t want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making ‘donations’ to their cause.

Get a Job and do your part!

I believe that it doesn’t take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.

I believe ‘illegal’ is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA !

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I’m a BAD American.

If you are a BAD American too, please forward this to everyone you know.

We want our country back!

Alabama Governor Candidate Calls Obama on Lie

Dr. Bentley Calls “Foul” on Obama’s Health Care Endorsements

TUSCALOOSA, AL – Dr. Robert Bentley, a practicing physician and Republican Candidate for Governor of Alabama, called President Obama’s statements regarding the AMA endorsement of the Democratic Health Plan a misrepresentation of the truth.

President Obama made a surprise appearance in the White House Press Room this afternoon to announce the AMA’s endorsement of the 1,991 page health care bill being pushed through Congress by the left wing of Congressional Democrats.

He proclaimed that the endorsement of the AMA signaled support of America’s doctors and that this endorsement meant that “doctors of America” are standing behind the effort to nationalize America’s health care system.“The AMA only represents a small number of practicing physicians in this country,” Dr. Bentley said. “The vast majority of practicing doctors are not members of the AMA. Most doctors that I know are completely against ‘ObamaCare’. By standing on national television and telling the American people that this endorsement means your doctor supports the liberal agenda, the President grossly exaggerated the truth” Bentley continued.

Less than 20% of the practicing physicians in the United States are represented by the American Medical Association.

Dr. Bentley is the only gubernatorial candidate in Alabama to release a comprehensive health care package for the state.

Dr. Bentley is a founding partner of Alabama Dermatology Associates, the largest dermatology practice in the Southeast.  He was also selected by his peers as one of the “Best Doctors in America.”

In 2002, he was elected to the Alabama State House of Representatives from Tuscaloosa County with over 60 percent of the vote.

In 2008, Dr. Bentley served as one of two representatives from Alabama on the Republican National Committee’s Platform Committee and was elected as a Presidential Delegate for Governor Mike Huckabee, who won the Alabama Republican Presidential Primary election.

The End

Once again it seems that Mr Obama has attempted to deceive & mislead the public.  There is many ignorant people who don’t know that the AMA represents such a few physicians.  It is about time that all politicians call Mr Obama on the “lies” that he tells.
